A mattress that measures, then moves.
Foam holds one shape for ten years. Springs hold one shape for ten years. A CasAI mattress reads the body lying on it and changes underneath, chamber by chamber, all night, without waking you.
This page says what the sensor measures, what it does not, how accurate it is, and what happens to your data. Where CasAI has not published a figure, the gap is marked rather than filled in.
How the sensor works
The sensing layer is the air itself. Twelve air chambers run the length of the AI Pro XII, six on each half, one under the shoulders, back, waist, lumbar spine, hips and legs.
When you lie down, your weight changes the pressure in each chamber. A pressure sensor on each chamber reads that change, and the system reads the pattern across all twelve as posture: where you are, how you lie, and when you move.
No wearable, no strap, nothing to charge. The left and right halves are read and controlled separately, so two people on one bed are two readings. The pump that moves the air runs under 40 decibels.

What is measured
On the bed, every night: pressure under each of the twelve chambers, the posture the system reads from that pattern, movement between postures and when it happens, and the breathing pattern that precedes snoring as it shows up in pressure.
At the fitting, once: pressure distribution on the trial bed, spine alignment, body proportions and pillow height. A sample of what that looks like:
- Sleeping position
- Side, 70% of the night
- Pressure points
- Peak at shoulder and hip
- Spine alignment
- 11° lumbar dip
- Body profile
- Broad shoulder, lighter hip
- Pillow height
- 12 cm, contour
What is not measured
The brief for this site says the mattress has no camera, no microphone and no wearable. Each of those is a claim the owner has to confirm in writing before it is stated as fact, so each is marked here until then.
- No cameraTo confirm: no camera on every model
- No microphoneTo confirm: no microphone on every model
- No wearableTo confirm: no wearable on every model
Heart rate, blood oxygen and sleep stages are not measured. The sleep report is built from pressure and movement on your own bed, not from a wrist.
Accuracy and limits
“Learns you” means two things. On night one the bed adapts: shift position and the support changes under you within the same minute. Over nights and weeks it refines the settings it starts from, so it reaches your shape faster each night.
It cannot diagnose anything. The anti-snore lift responds to a pressure pattern, not to a medical reading, and it will lift the head end when that pattern appears whether or not you were about to snore. If snoring is a health concern, see a doctor; the bed is not a treatment.
Certifications
Foam, fabric and safety documentation is held at the showroom. Ask to see it when you visit, and read it before you buy rather than after.
Data and privacy

Independent testing
No independent test results have been supplied for this page, and none are implied. What CasAI does in-house: every mattress is inflated and read on the showroom system before delivery, and the trial bed at Balestier runs the same software your bed will.
Next to a conventional mattress
Through the night.
| Through the night | A CasAI mattress | A conventional mattress |
|---|---|---|
| Support | Adjusts zone by zone as you move | One feel, all night, for everyone |
| Firmness | Tuned to your body, adjustable any night | Chosen once in a showroom, fixed for years |
| Snoring | Gentle elevation when the pattern starts | Elbows |
| Two sleepers | Each side reads its own body | One compromise in the middle |
| Over time | Learns you and keeps improving | Slowly forgets the shape it started with |
Feel it adjust under you.
Reading about sensing is one thing. The moment the support shifts beneath your shoulders is another.
